Foreign Minister called on HRH Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud

Foreign Minister of Pakistan Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar arrived in Saudi Arabia today on a visit of the Kingdom at the invitation of Foreign Minister HRH Prince Saud al Faisal.

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan called on HRH Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Premier. She conveyed to the Crown Prince the greetings and good wishes of H.E. Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, President of Pakistan and H.E. Raja Pervez Ashraf, Prime Minister. During the meeting, the two leaders expressed satisfaction at the status of bilateral relations and discussed various issues of mutual interest. She said that Saudi Arabia is playing a unique and irreplaceable role in the Muslim world.

The Foreign Minister reiterated the invitation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to HRH the Crown Prince to visit Pakistan. The Crown Prince responded that Pakistan was like his second home and he was looking forward to visit Pakistan. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Muhammed Naeem Khan.
