Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar calls her Danish counterpart

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar called her Danish counterpart today. Denmark is the current President of the European Union. The Foreign Minister appreciated Denmark’s consistent support for the WTO waiver for Pakistan specific trade preferences and hoped that during the Danish Presidency EU-Pakistan cooperation would be further strengthened. She urged the Danish Foreign Minister to help expedite the internal process of the European Union for early operationlization of the trade preferences.
The Foreign Minister of Denmark assured Foreign Minister Khar that Denmark would continue supporting Pakistan’s case in the EU.
