Foreign Minister Khar visits Qatar for Bilateral Consultations

The Foreign Minister, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar, is visiting the state of Qatar for bilateral consultations from 3-4 March 2013. During her stay, she would call on the Emir of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and hold bilateral talks with the Prime Minister/Minister of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Hamad bin Jassim Jabar Al Thani.

Pakistan and Qatar enjoy excellent bilateral relations and the Foreign Minister is visiting to follow up on the issues discussed during the visit of the President Asif Ali Zardari in November last year. Besides, discussing bilateral ties they would also discuss regional issues of mutual interest particularly the situation in Afghanistan.
