Foreign Secretary meets Director General of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation

Director General of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Ambassador Martin Dahinden, met Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir at the Foreign Office today.

The Foreign Secretary and the Director General held detailed discussions on matters of common interest, including regional and global developments. The Foreign Secretary elaborated Pakistan’s vision of trans-regional development cooperation.

Director General SDC briefed the Foreign Secretary on the Agency’s activities in Pakistan. The Foreign Secretary welcomed SDC’s interest. He noted that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Switzerland had always remained close and cordial. Pakistan deeply valued Swiss assistance in the wake of the floods catastrophe.
