H.E. Mr. Fayyaz Ahmed, Acting Ambassador/Charge d’ Affaires met with H.E. Mr. Alsidieg Ahmed Asour, Head of Investigations Section, Office of the Attorney General of Tripoli in his office on 15th December, 2020.
Acting Ambassador discussed the issue of Pakistani crew members stuck in Al Khums as well as issue of Pakistani immigrants detained in different jails/detention centre of Libya. The Attorney General assured that he will instruct the concerned regarding release of crew members and other Pakistani detainees if they are not involved in any heinous crime. Other related issues were also discussed and the meeting was very fruitful.
Defence Attaché, Brigadier TalhaAltaf based in Morocco and accredited to the State of Libya was on official visit to Tripoli also accompanied the Acting Ambassador/Charge d’ Affaires during the meeting.
