Head of Mission visited University of Dosso and Dosso Polytechnic Institute

Mr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey, Head of Mission of Pakistan visited Dosso province of Republic of Niger. During his visit to Dosso, HoM also visited University of Dosso and Dosso Polytechnic Institute. Rector, Registrar of the University and other faculty members warmly received the Pakistani envoy. Head of Mission saw different departments and interact with the students followed by a questions session.

During the meeting with University administration, matter related to mutual interest including cooperation in educational sector, matters pertaining to scholarships and other discussed. Registrar Dr. Maiga requested to assist in establishment of MBA Islamic Financing Department in University. He further elaborated that the assistance must include signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), provision of faculty including training and exchange of students as per MoU. It is pertinent to note that University of Dossu is a young university and have established 5 years before. Currently, it has five faculties and management intends to expand and include advance studies including various fields of Engineering, Business Administration and others.

HoM assured him full co-operation in disseminating information about the opportunities in above-mentioned sectors for potential Pakistani investors and Pakistani institutions. Both the dignitaries agreed to increase the cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
