On August 16, 2023, H.E. Naeem Khan called on Mr. Vincent Biruta, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Rwanda, to present his credentials at his office. This meeting was a significant gesture from the Rwandan side, taking place in just two days after his arrival. During the meeting, High Commissioner Naeem Khan and Foreign Minister Vincent Biruta engaged in a productive discussion, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation across key areas such as health, education, trade, defense, investment, technology exchange, cultural cooperation, and agriculture. Both countries expressed their commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration. H.E. Naeem Khan conveyed the warm regards of the Pakistani government, expressing Pakistan’s keen interest in expanding its presence in Africa under the Pakistan’s Engage Africa policy.
Foreign Minister Vincent Biruta warmly welcomed High Commissioner Naeem Khan and his commitment to fostering closer ties between the two countries. He highlighted Rwanda’s openness to bilateral engagements that promote economic growth and regional stability. He also emphasized the significance of high-profile bilateral visits between the leadership of both countries.
