High Commissioner Siraj Ahmad Khan presented his credentials to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan in Zanzibar today.
During the meeting, the President while welcoming the High Commissioner, congratulated him and assured him of her government’s full cooperation. She thanked Pakistan for providing scholarships and trainings to Tanzanian students and officials, respectively. The President emphasized on increasing interaction between the businessmen of the two countries for further enhancing trade and investment between the two sides.
The High Commissioner thanked the President for receiving him and conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the leadership of Pakistan. He agreed with her on the need to expand the scope of trainings for Tanzanian officials as well as enhancing cooperation in trade and commerce. The High Commissioner assured the President of making all efforts to further strengthen the friendly relations between the two sides and solicited her government’s support in this regard.
