Inaugural Session of the Pakistan-Hungary Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation

The inaugural session of the Pakistan-Hungary Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation was held on 12-13 September 2019 in Budapest. The Pakistan delegation was led by Mr. Ahmed Hanif Orakzai, Additional Secretary, Economic Affairs Division. The Hungarian side was led by Mr. Istvan Joo, Deputy State Secretary for Export Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.

The meeting concluded with mutual understandings on further strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the fields of commerce and trade, agriculture, health, education, information technology, tourism & sports and water management.

The concluding Protocol was signed between the two sides on 13th September 2019.
