Independence Day Celebrations in Cairo

An impressive flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Chancery to celebrate the Independence Day, 14th August 2015. The ceremony was attended by a large number of members of Pakistan community living in Cairo and the officers and officials of the Embassy with their families. Messages of the President and Prime Minister were readout on the occasion. Children from Pakistan International School sang Milli Naghamas.

In his remarks, the Ambassador underlined the capacity and commitment of the political leadership in confronting the contemporary challenges and leading the nation. Felicitating the community on the auspicious occasion, he appreciated their participative spirit that demonstrated national unity and harmony and also their trust and confidence in the political leadership.
