Independence Day of Pakistan

A grand but simple ceremony was arranged at the Chancery on the morning of 14th August, 2016 to mark the 69th Independence Day of Pakistan. The Pakistani community based in Phnom Penh were invited to attend. The ceremony started out with recitation of the Holy Quran. The Ambassador raised the National flag with vocal playing of the National Anthem. Special messages of the President and Prime Minister for the occasion were read-out by the Ambassador and Head of Chancery respectively. The Ambassador in his remarks highlighted the significant achievements made by Pakistan since independence. The attendees highly appreciated the Independence Day ceremony organized by the Mission.
