Mr. Bilal Khan Pasha
He holds Post Graduation Degree in Business Administration and Diploma in WTO Laws from WTO Institute, Geneva, Switzerland.
Mr. Bilal Khan Pasha is a career Civil Servant for the last 20 years and recently assumed his new responsibilities as Consul General of Pakistan to Istanbul, Turkey. Prior to this assignment, he was serving as Joint Secretary / Director General Foreign Trade in the Ministry of Commerce & Textile, Islamabad. In addition to that he was also serving as Secretary to the Board of Administrators of Export Development Fund which is a dedicated Fund set-up by the Government of Pakistan for promotion of exports and train related human resource for export development skills.
He has previously served in various positions in Ministry of Commerce, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Water & Power Development Authority and Pakistan Institute of Trade & Development. He has also served at the Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai as Commercial Counsellor for six years.
Mr. Pasha has vast experience of dealing in international trade issues and policies. He has led and represented Pakistan at various international trade fora including WTO. Besides he also acted as Focal Person of Pakistan on Trade Working Group of COMCEC of OIC, based in Ankara, Turkey. He also led Pakistani delegations in trade negotiations with USA, India, Afghanistan, Iran and countries in Africa & Middle-East.
He is married and is blessed with three sons & two daughters.
