Mr. Khalid Majid

Born in 1969.

Holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts (BA)

Joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1999.

Served at the Headquarters as Section Officer/ Assistant Director (January 2000 – June 2004), Director (August 2008 – April 2010), Director General (August 2017 – September 2019).

Held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad: Third Secretary/ Second Secretary/ First Secretary at the Embassy of Pakistan, The Hague Netherlands (August 2004 – August 2008), First Secretary/Counsellor at the High Commission for Pakistan London, United Kingdom (November 2010 – October 2014), Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan, Beijing China (October 2014 – February 2017).

Presently he is serving as Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah since September 2019.

He is married.
