Kashmir Solidarity Day Observed on 05 February 2020

Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed in the Chancery premises on 05 February 2020. Members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri community attended the event. The function started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthems of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Special messages of the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan on the occasion were readout by Mr. Muhammad Saleem, Charge d’ Affaires (a.p.). A documentary highlighting ongoing brutalities in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir at the hands of Indian forces unleashed in IOJ&K since August 05, 2019 was also run. Leaflets and information material on Jammu & Kashmir dispute were also distributed.
