Letter from the Adviser to US Secretary of State to condemn the terrorist attack and express solidarity
The text of the letter has been reproduced below:
“Excellency,
We are deeply shocked by the terrorist attack in Florida on 12 June that caused a loss of 50 innocent lives and injured scores of people.
We strongly condemn the wanton killing of innocent people and sympathize with the Government and the people of the United States of America, particularly, the victims’ families for their loss.
In this hour of profound grief, the Government of Pakistan expresses solidarity with the Government of the USA and the bereaved families.
Pakistan, being among the biggest victims of terrorism, reaffirms its support to the US in its drive against the menace of terrorism.”
