List of Do’s and Don’ts of Maldives are as follows:

Do’s

  1. Dress modestly on inhabitants’ Islands
  2. Remove your shoes at the door of a home
  3. Extra respectful during Ramadan
  4. Choose your souvenir carefully
  5. Expect extra taxes due to import costs
  6. Bring lots of sunscreen
  7. Smile a lot
  8. Try and learn few basic phrases in Dhivehi

 

Don’ts 

  1. Be out late in Male’ City
  2. Bring banned items on your trip
  3. Touch pink corals
  4. Expect free or speedy Wi-Fi
  5. Expect our Seaplane flight to be on time
  6. Litter the Sea
  7. Sell/Purchase Black Corals.
