Lunch Hosted by Pakistani Community in the Honour of Visiting Chief of the Army Staff.

Pakistani community living in Brunei Darussalam arranged a lunch for the visiting Pakistan’s Chief of Amy staff and his delegation at Empire Hotel and Country Club on 27th March 2018. A large number of professionals, businessmen, and notables of the community attended the lunch. The President of the community Mr. Feroz Khan in his welcoming remarks thanked General Qamar Javed Bajwa, NI(M) for visiting the Sultanate and appreciated his efforts to make Pakistan a very peaceful, secure and strong country. He hoped that his visit to the Sultanate will bring the two brotherly nations more closer to each other. The General Qamar Javed Bajwa, NI(M), in his remarks thanked the Pakistani community for getting together and arranging the sumptuous lunch and displaying of great warmth and hospitality for him and his delegation. He further remarked that Brunei and Pakistan are bound together by fraternal relations, rooted in common faith, belief and shared values. The Armed Forces of Pakistan under the present democratic government have rooted out evil forces from Pakistan and Pakistan with every passing day is becoming stronger and stronger. He also mentioned about the vision, leadership and benevolence of His Majesty Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam for making Brunei Darussalam a true aboard of peace. He emphasized on Pakistani community to keep working hard and be a useful member of Brunei Darussalam.
