The Embassy has stopped issuing Manual Visas with effect from 31 January, 2021. Thereafter, starting 01 February 2021 for all categories of visa applicants, only Online Visa Applications would be entertained through the Government of Pakistan’s Online Visa Portal, at the following URL; https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/

Diplomatic / Official (Gratis) Visas
Diplomats and Officials can either apply for Gratis Visa through the Embassy or avail e-Visa facility upon payment of processing fee.
To apply for a Gratis Visa, diplomat / official needs to visit the website https://visa.nadra.gov.pk and after selecting the visa category “Official/Diplomat Visas”, applicant may download the required visa form (in Word Format) and submit the same along with required documents both in soft copies through email pakvisabahrain@mofa.gov.pk as well as hardcopies at the Embassy.
Parents’ Consent Form for children applying visa
For Minor children visa applications, the “Parents’ Consent Form” must be signed and uploaded by the parents’ / guardians (as applicable) under the Supporting Document Type “Other”.

Guidelines / Requirements for attestation of documents
Four Name Letter
1. Written application addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of Pakistan, Bahrain.
2. Copies of CNIC / NICOP, Passport, CPR, RP
3. In case of married female, copy of Nikahnama / Marriage Certificate required.
4. Copy of birth certificate.
5. Letter by Immigration / form for nationality.
Attestation of Power of Attorney / Authority letter / MukhtarNama
1. Requisite text should be printed on Bahraini Legal paper / Stamp paper (Available at nearest post office) alongwith its photocopies.
2. In case of Bahraini National, it should be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain.
3. Attach photocopies of NICOP / CNIC, Passport& CPR of the applicant.
4. A copy of ownership papers of property (In case of Power of Attorney for property).
5. Presence of two witnesses.
6. Photocopies of NICOP / CNIC, Passport& CPR of the witnesses.
7. Applicant will sign and affix thumb impression in the presence of the Embassy’s authorized officer.
Attestation of Power of Attorney executed from Pakistan
1. Power of attorney issued from Pakistan should be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its Camp Offices in Peshawar / Lahore / Quetta / Karachi.
2. A copy of the above power of attorney (For the record of Embassy)
3. Copies of CNIC / NICOP, Passport and CPR.
Attestation of Nikahnama / Marriage Certificate
1. Original Nikahnama / Marriage Certificate should be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its camp offices in Quetta / Karachi / Peshawar / Lahore (Pakistan) alongwith its photocopy.
3. Attach Copies of CNIC / NICOP / Passport and CPR.
Attestation of translated Nikahnama
1. English translation of the Nikahnama should be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its camp offices in Quetta / Karachi / Peshawar / Lahore (Pakistan).
2. Arabic translation of the Nikahnama should be translated by a registered Translator of the Kingdom of Bahrain and countersigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain alongwith its photocopy.
3. Copies of CNIC / NICOP / Passport and CPR.
4. A copy of original Nikahnama.
Divorce paper/Talaqnama
1. Requisite text should be printed on a plain / legal paper alongwith its photocopy.
2. Attach a copy of Nikahnama.
3. Presence of two witnesses.
4. Attach copies of CNICs / NICOPs, Passports and CPRs of both witnesses.
5. Applicant will sign and affix thumb impression in the presence of the Embassy’s authorized officer.
Educational Documents
1. Original academic documents need to be attested first by HEC or IBCC, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, or from its respective Camp Offices in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.
2. Copies of educational documents for the record of Embassy.
3. Copies of CNIC / NICOP / Passport and CPR.
All other Pakistani documents
All other Pakistani documents should be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its camp offices in Karachi / Quetta / Lahore / Peshawar.
All other Bahraini documents
All other Bahraini documents should be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain.
Note: Doubtful documents will be referred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or its camp offices in Lahore / Karachi / Quetta / Peshawar for verification (Applicant would be informed accordingly).

Embassy of Pakistan processes only Machine Readable passports (MRP). The applicants must appear in the Embassy in person. The applicants are not required to fill any form or bring any picture.

1. Foreign Exchange Remittance Card (FERC)

· Original bank receipts (amount remitted through normal banking channels).

2. Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Membership Card (OPF)
· Copy of Passport (First two pages) having protector stamp.

3. Miscellaneous NOCs/ Certificates
· Un-Married Certificate
Copies of passport, CNIC, CPR of father and daughter and thumb impression on the Declaration Form in the presence of Embassy staff.
· Exit Permit Letter
Exit Permit Letter is issued in case of expired visa and valid passport. (Copy of passport, CNIC and CPR)
· Driving License verification
Copy of Driving License, passport, CNIC, CPR and confirmation of license of issuing authority
· Equivalence certificate
Copy of Degree / Certificate, passport, CNIC and CPR
· Name verification
Name verification is done according to passport and CNIC. Copy of passport, CNIC and CPR is required.
· NOC for Dead body repatriation / burial
Copy of Death Information / Death Certificate, passport, CNIC of the deceased along with application for issuing NOC.
4. Attestation of Demand letter and Power of Attorney
Prior Attestations from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry are mandatory.
