IMTIAZ AHMAD KAZI

Born in 1965. Holds degrees of MBBS, LLB, MA and MIPP.

Joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in1989.

Served at the Headquarters as Section Officer (1991-1993 & 1997) and Director (2001-2002 and 2007-2009) and Director General (2015-2016).

Remained on deputation with ECO Secretariat, Tehran (1998-2000).

Served as Member Directing Staff’ in the National Defence University on deputation (2017-2018).

Held various diplomatic assignments at Pakistan Missions abroad: Tehran(1994-1995), Paris (2002-2003), Doha (2004-2007) and Kuala Lumpur (2009-2012)

Served as Consul General at Frankfurt (2012-2015).

Served as Ambassador to Kazakhstan since August, 2018 to October 2020.

Presently he is serving as Ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines since  November 2020

He is married.
