Mr. Muhammad Saleem, Charge d’ Affaires (a.p.), High Commission of Pakistan, held a meeting with Mr. Gerald John Kihinga, Commissioner of Immigration, Passport & Citizenship; and Ms. Mary F. Palmer, Commissioner of Permit, Visa & Passes Division, Immigration Department, Ministry of Home Affairs, the United Republic of Tanzania, in Dar es Salaam on March 30, 2020.

Mr. Saleem highlighted the various consular and emergency services being offered by the Pakistan High Commission to the Pakistani Diaspora living in the United Republic of Tanzania for any report of Covid-19 infection or any other destitute Pakistani. He sought cooperation and support of the Immigration Department for sharing of information immediately with the High Commission in case any Pakistani is reported to be stranded, apprehended or needs any consular assistance on any account including Covid-19 infection.

The Tanzanian officers thanked Mr. Saleem for the support and cooperation being offered by the High Commission of Pakistan to the Department with a view to facilitate Pakistani Diaspora living in Tanzania.
