Message of Condolence from Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Prime Minister of People’s Republic of China over the Earthquake in Yunnan, China

I am deeply saddened and grieved to hear about the devastating earthquake that hit South-Western Yunnan province on 3 August resulting in loss of precious lives and destruction of property.

On behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan and on my own behalf, I would like to convey our deep sympathies to the bereaved families and affectees of the calamity.

We are confident that under your leadership the brave and resilient people of China will be able to overcome this disaster with courage and fortitude.

At this difficult time, we stand by Your Excellency and the great Chinese people and extend our support and solidarity.
