Message of Condolence from the Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh

“Excellency,

I am deeply saddened and grieved at the tragic loss of precious lives resulting from the collapse of a factory building near Dhaka. On behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan and on my own behalf I wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to Your Excellency and the government and the people of Bangladesh on this tragic loss. May the departed souls rest in eternal peace.

Our prayers and sympathies are with the bereaved families. We are confident that our brothers in Bangladesh will be able to cope with this tragedy.
