Message of Felicitations from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the Occasion of National Day of Peoples Republic of China

It gives me immense pleasure to extend my heartiest felicitations to you, the Government and the people of China on the auspicious occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.

The iron brotherhood of Pakistan and China reflects close cooperation, mutual trust and complete understanding of each other’s interests. Our peoples stand together in protecting and promoting our shared values of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.

The unprecedented success story of the Pakistan-China friendship has entered a new chapter with the implementation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. I am confident that this initiative will take our strategic partnership to towering heights, and bring development, stability and prosperity to our peoples and our region.

Our two countries have always stood by each other in regional and international foraand have together contributed toward peace, security and stability within the region and across the world.
