The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Nawabzada Malik Amad Khan today visited the Indian High Commission in Islamabad to convey the Government’s condolences on the demise of Mr. R. Venkataraman, former President of India who passed away on 27 January 2009. The Minister of State also signed the condolence book. On arrival he was received by the Indian High Commissioner.
Earlier separate messages of condolences were sent by the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan to the President and Prime Minister of the Republic of India.
