The Foreign Secretary of India, Ms. Nirupama Rao called on Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs this morning.
The Indian Foreign Secretary conveyed the greetings of the Indian Minister for External Affairs, H.E. Mr. S.M. Krishna and reiterated that the Government of India looked forward to the Minister of State’s visit to New Delhi next month.
The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs conveyed to the Indian Foreign Secretary the importance that Pakistan attaches to the ongoing dialogue process and to the improvement of Pakistan-India relations. She said that she was looking forward very much to her meetings in New Delhi.
The Indian Foreign Secretary is in Islamabad for the Foreign Secretaries’ Level Talks, which cover Peace and Security, including CBMs; Jammu and Kashmir and Promotion of Friendly exchanges.
