Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar met Mr. David Miliband, former Foreign Secretary of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office today. They exchanged views on the state of bilateral relations, and expressed satisfaction at the regular interaction among the leaders of the two countries.
The Minister of State commended Mr. Miliband for his efforts as Foreign Secretary in launching the British Pakistan Foundation, as also his contribution towards the Pak-UK Strategic Dialogue, which was formally launched during Prime Minister David Cameron’s visit to Pakistan on 5 April 2011.
During the meeting, Pakistan-India relations, the situation in Middle East as well as our relations with Afghanistan came under discussion.
