Mr. Abdullah Afridi, a Pakistani businessman based in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province led a fund-raising campaign to help local Chinese and Pakistani expatriates during the peak of pandemic. He provided food and masks to Pakistani students under quarantine. He also provided financial assistance to destitute Pakistani to purchase air tickets for travel to Pakistan. Apart from his donations to local hospitals, Mr. Afridi donated a sizeable number of PPEs to Adiyala Jail and several police stations and hospitals of Rawalpindi District and Karachi. He was also a frontline volunteer for extending assistance to destitute Pakistani nationals in China
