Saeed Sheikh currently is a Coordinator of Alliance for Disaster Relief (AFDR) and President of Houston Karachi Sister City Association (HKSCA). Sheikh was born in Hyderabad, Pakistan, where completed his college education. At the age of 18 he involved in the Community as Volunteer & business leader and served 15 years in the Pakistan Junior Chamber and was elected as its 1992 National President. After moving to USA, he joined Pakistan Commerce-USA & served as President in 2008. He has been engaged in retail and wholesale of merchandise sector. President Donald Trump awarded him the “President’s Lifetime Achievement Award 2018”, a prestigious Civil Award, which can be bestowed to citizens for their contribution to the nation for the most outstanding volunteer services throughout their lifetime.

Recently in order to taper the COVID-19, Sheikh Coordinated “Alliance for Disaster COVID-19 Relief Efforts” through the generous support of Mr. S. Javaid Anwar& spearheaded by Consulate General-Houston benefiting Community in USA & in Pakistan. The Relief efforts include a Food / Grocery Distribution, PPE Donation to Mayor Houston Drive, Houston “Virtual “ Iftar with the Mayor, Donation of $200,000.00 from Syed Javaid Anwar to PM Relief Fund for COVID-19, Free COVID-19 Testing, PPE donation to Congressman Al Green drive for Fort Bend County, PPE Safety Kits Distribution to Community members, Grocery distribution in Northern Pakistan, PPE distribution in Karachi and funding to COVID-19 Relief projects ofProject C.U.R.E, Texas and Houston Food Bank, ICNA Relief, Helping Hand USA & Rotary International.

Sheikh’s leadership was recognized by Sister Cities International Circle of Distinguished Volunteers, Jaycees International, City of Houston& US Congress.
