Observance of 81st National Day of Pakistan – 23 March 2021
The Embassy of Pakistan in Dushanbe observed 81st National Day of Pakistan in the Chancery building today.
The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by hoisting of the Pakistani flag with the national anthem by Charge d’ Affaires Mr. Shahid Ali Seehar. Messages of President and Prime Minister were read out by the Charge d’ Affaires Mr. Shahid Ali Seehar and Mr. Rashid Khan, Defence Attaché, respectively.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of Pakistani community members based in Tajikistan along with their families. Pakistani children also performed on the occasion by singing national songs, reciting poetry and making speeches highlighting thePakistan Day Resolution and its importance in nation’s history.
In his remarks, Mr. Shahid Ali Seeharcongratulated the Pakistani community in Tajikistan on the occasion of 81st National Day of Pakistanand paid rich tributes to the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Dr. Allama Iqbal and all leaders of Pakistan Movement. He also expressed solidarity with the people of IIOJK who have been under state oppression by Indian security forces.
On the occasion, the Chancery building was adorned with Pakistani flags. At the conclusion of the ceremony light refreshment was served to the guests.
