(2017-06-22) Pakistan strongly condemns the car bomb explosion in Lashkargah city (Helmand province) of Afghanistan earlier today, resulting in the loss of 29 innocent lives and injuries to many more.
The people and Government of Pakistan extend their heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences to the Government and the people of Afghanistan and in particular the bereaved families.
Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. We pray for the early recovery of the injured. We firmly stand with our Afghan brothers in this hour of grief.
