Pakistan Day Celebrated in Poland

To mark Pakistan Day, flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy on 23rd March, 2018. The event was attended by around 100 Pakistanis living in Warsaw and the officials of the Embassy along with their families. The ceremony started with the recitation of Holy Quran. This was followed by the flag hoisting while Pakistan�s national anthem was played. Messages of the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan on the occasion were read out by Ambassador H.E. Mr. Shafqat Ali Khan.

2. Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador congratulated the community members on Pakistan Day and urged them to have unity and present the true image of the country while living in Poland. He thanked them for turning up in such a large number on a working day and inclement cold weather.

3. Pakistani food was served to the guests at the conclusion of the ceremony.
