Pakistan Day in Ljubljana

An exhibition of books on Pakistan and handicrafts was held at the University of Ljubljana on 27th March.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Nadeem Riyaz and Dr Igor Papic, Rector of the University of Ljubljana.

The exhibition displayed books on Pakistan’s mountains, cities, defence, cuisine, architecture, fashion, calligraphy, carpets, wood and truck art. Items of Truck art, shawls, dresses and carpets were also exhibited.

The display was appreciated by the faculty and students of the University. Members of the small Pakistani community and students also participated.

The exhibition was held in collaboration with the University of Ljubljana to celebrate the Pakistan Day. Earlier the Ambassador had given a talk on “Today’s Pakistan” at the School of Social Sciences of the University.

The display was widely appreciated by the participants.
