THE Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam, Ahmed Ali Sirohey, paid a visit yesterday to the Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the Ministry of Education, Dr Haji Junaidi bin Haji Abdul Rahman.
During the visit, matters of bilateral cooperation in the sectors of higher education, medical education, pharmacy, engineering, telecommunication and info-communications technology (ICT) were discussed.
Ahmed Ali Sirohey also visited the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health, Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, to discuss the revival of a 2007 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on bilateral health cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Pakistan.
The deputy high commissioner also indicated that his country is ready to conduct joint ventures in the health industry with Brunei Darussalam. The visit ended with both sides agreeing to engage in positive communication, to enhance existing relations between the two countries.
