THE Pakistan High Comission held a sungkai gathering with some Pakistani businessmen and 25 children with special needs yesterday at Dewan Muhibbah, Old Airport Road.
The children, who were members of Pusat Ehsan, were accompanied by their family members during the dinner.
In attendance were Acting Brunei-Muara District Officer Misle Hj Abd Karim, as the guest of honour, and Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan Ahmed Ali Sirohey.
“The community with the patronage of high commission will keep serving and assist to those who needed it the most,” the acting high commissioner was quoted as saying in a press release.
After breaking the fast, guests then performed the Maghrib prayer.
The distribution of cash gifts to the children was held at the end of the event, presented by the acting Brunei-Muara district officer and the Pakistan acting high commissioner.
