A Pakistan Air Force C-130 aircraft carrying 10 tonnes of medicines from the government and the people of Pakistan for the people of Gaza arrived at the Marka airport in Amman late last evening (January 27).
The aircraft was met at the airport by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mohammad Akhtar Tufail, and officials of the Jordanian government. The consignment was handed over to the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, which is the designated agency responsible for carrying all aid and humanitarian assistance from Jordan to the Palestinian Territories.
On the occasion, Ambassador Mohammad Akhtar Tufail said that Pakistan stood by the Palestinian people. This consignment was a manifestation of the deep rooted relations between the two peoples and support for each other.
