Pakistani Cuisine Introduced in Brazil

In a grand Reception held at Pakistan House, Brasilia, today, an array of Pakistani food specialities were introduced, depicting the cuisine culture of all Provinces of Pakistan. The colourful event also witnessed the Ambassador of Pakistan hosting a befitting Reception at the newly set up Pakistan House in Brasilia. A house full of guests, representing all walks of life, enjoyed the typical Pakistani hospitality in a most friendly atmosphere.

Besides high officials from the Government of Brazil, the Representatives of Pakistan Community based in Brasilia and students from the University of Brasilia participated in the event.

The Brazilian Foreign Office was represented by Ambassador Ary Quintella along with Officers dealing with South Asia.

Notables representing the diplomatic community included Ambassadors of Australia, Azerbaijan, China, Cuba, Egypt, Germany, India, Jordon, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey and the United States of America.

The famous Brazilian Director Orchestra Claudio Cohen and his spouse also graced the occasion. The legendary Brazilian artiste appreciated the Pakistani folk music which was played during the function. At the request of guests, Pakistani chefs happily provided recipes of various Pakistani delicacies.
