Pakistani Expatriates in Libya

Responding to a question regarding Pakistani expatriates in Libya, the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said that the Foreign Ministry was closely following developments in Libya.

A Special Task Force has been set up in the Foreign Ministry to monitor the situation round the clock and to provide assistance to Pakistani expatriates.

The Foreign Ministry is in close contact with our Missions in Tripoli, neighbouring countries and the region.

Given the deteriorating security situation in Libya all Pakistani expatriates are advised to maintain close contact with our Embassy in Tripoli.
