Pakistani Mango Tasting event at Ljubljana, Slovenia

An event for promotion of Pakistani mangoes, under the banner of ‘Emerging Pakistan’ was held at Ljubljana Central Market on Saturday, 21st July 2018. The event was organized by the Embassy of Pakistan, Rome in collaboration with Janez Jelnikar, Honorary Consul of Pakistan in Slovenia.

Over 2000 persons visited the Pakistan stall. They were treated to freshly cut mangoes and delicacies like mango lassi, mango milk shake, pickles, chutneys and jam.

The visitors included government functionaries, journalists, businessmen, tourists, members from the Slovenian Chambers of Commerce and small Pakistani community based in Slovenia. The food market in which the event was held also provided an opportunity to the general public to enjoy the delicious king of Pakistani fruit.

This was the first ever event held in Slovenia for the promotion of Pakistani mangoes. The feedback was extremely positive. The free tasting also was very well received by the general public who freely interacted with the Ambassador and the Honorary Consul General.
