Pakistanis in Bahrain
The Government of Pakistan deeply regrets the loss of life of an innocent Pakistani worker and injury to several others as a result of violence in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The safety of Pakistani nationals abroad is of paramount importance. We have requested the Government of Bahrain to ensure the safety of our nationals. Pakistan Embassy in Bahrain has also been instructed to take all appropriate steps in this regard.
Pakistan is closely following the developments in Bahrain. We enjoy close fraternal relations with Bahrain and earnestly hope that the leadership and the people of Bahrain will be able to overcome the present difficulties.
