Pakistan’s Assistance of US $ 1 Million for Flood Affected Areas of Nepal

(2017-10-27) In an expression of solidarity with people and Government of Nepal, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Mazhar Javed handed over the cheque of US $ 1 Million, on 26th October 2017 to Prime Minister of Nepal, H.E Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The contribution is from the people and Government of Pakistan for our Nepalese brothers and sisters who suffered loss of lives and livelihood.

Nepal is a close friend in our neighbourhood and SAARC member. The assistance of Government of Pakistan for the flood affectees of Nepal is in line with our tradition of providing relief assistance to the people of our friendly countries in difficult times. It will further strengthen bilateral relations and the friendship of the people of the two countries.
