Today, Ambassador Mansoor Ahmad Khan presented his credentials as the new Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN in Vienna to Mr. Yury Fedotov, Director General United Nations Office in Vienna (UNOV) and Executive Director of United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

Mr. Fedotov warmly welcomed Ambassador Khan and appreciated Pakistan’s valuable contributions to the UN-led multilateral work in Vienna, particularly Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) and the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ).

Ambassador Khan reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to continue working closely with the UN as well as regional and international partners against the common and complex challenges of increasing drug production and trafficking in various parts of the world and transnational organized crime, including trafficking in persons, smuggling of migrants and cybercrime, corruption and terrorism.
