A Machine Readable Passport (MRP) Lab, established at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was made operational today (16 October 2015) for online processing of diplomatic and official passports of officials proceeding abroad on posting/transfer, at Pakistan Missions abroad. The Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sartaj Aziz, graced the occasion with his presence.
The facility will also be used for training of officials to process Machine Readable Passports at Pakistan Missions abroad.
