Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi chaired 10th meeting of the Advisory Council today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood, senior government officials, former foreign secretaries and experts attended the meeting.
The Advisory Council discussed Human Rights violations in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, regional developments and matters related to economic and cultural diplomacy.
Members of Council appreciated Government’s initiative to open Kartarpur Corridor.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi discussed Pakistan’s continued efforts to extend moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris under curfew for 107th day in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.
The Council also discussed way and means to strengthen economic and cultural engagement with Muslim countries including developing cooperation to deal with Islamophobia.
