Pakistani Diaspora living in the United Republic of Tanzania is hereby informed that in view of disruption of routine Consular Services due to outbreak of Covid-19 and to facilitate the Pakistani Diaspora in Tanzania, the relaxation of rules for Consular Services authorized by the Government of Pakistan are summarized as follows: –

• As NADRA has temporarily discontinued renewals of identity cards, the validity of already expired NADRA cards stands extended till 30.06.2020.
• Expired MRPs (Passports) can be extended manually for a further period of one year by the High Commission in Dar es Salaam.
• Endorsement of name of newborn babies are allowed to be made on the MRP (Passport) of either of the two parents in the High Commission till resumption of MRP service.
