As of today (15th May, 2020), 422 stranded Pakistanis in Canada have been repatriated to Pakistan through three PIA special flights from Toronto to different cities of Pakistan.
High Commissioner, Raza Bashir Tarar appreciated the cooperation of stranded Pakistanis in getting registered with the Mission amid closure of international regular flight operations due to COVID-19. The High Commissioner said that, since PIA has started relief flight operation for evacuation of Pakistanis, we hope that the remaining community members desirous of travelling to Pakistan, would be repatriated at the earliest.
