The High Commission for Pakistan in the United Republic of Tanzania organized the first ever ‘Khuli Kachehri’with Pakistan Diaspora members at the High Commission premises in Dar es Salaam, on January 26, 2021.

The High Commissioner for Pakistan in Tanzania,Mr. Muhammad Saleem, welcomed the participants.They were informed about the new initiative of the Government of Pakistan for holding ‘e-Khuli Kachehri’ to engage with the Pakistani Diaspora. However, keeping in view the relatively calm Covid-19 related situation in the United Republic of Tanzania, the ‘Khuli Kachehri’ was attended by the Community members in person.

The High Commissioner briefed the participants about the consular services being provided by the Mission. He also informed about various services and recent initiatives of the Government of Pakistan for the Overseas Pakistanis including the Roshan Digital Account of the State Bank of Pakistan; redressal of grievances, if any, through the Pakistan Citizen Portal and the Overseas Pakistani Foundation. The participants discussed various matters of the Community’s interest with the High Commissioner.

The participants praised the initiative of the Government of Pakistan for launching the‘e-Khuli Kachehri’on a monthly basis.
