(2018-02-07) We are deeply concerned over media reports of a missile attack by Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushait on 5th February 2018. The timely interception by Saudi Air Defense saved the civilian populated city from grave consequences. Such attacks targeting the unarmed civilian population are a violation of international law and condemnable.
Pakistan denounces the repeated missile attacks on Saudi territory by Houti militia. These attacks pose a threat to the security of the Kingdom and the Holy Places. Pakistan reiterates its solidarity with the Government and people of the Saudi Arabia and renews its commitment to support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as to protect its Holy Places.
