Acting High Commissioner Shahbaz Malik, hoisted Pakistan flag, in a simple ceremony, to mark the 75th anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence at the Chancery here today. National Anthem was played on the occasion.
Due to risks associated with the public gathering, no indoor event was held.
In a video message, the Acting High Commissioner greeted Canadians of Pakistani origin on the auspicious occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day and read out messages of the President and Prime Minister on this occasion.
