Pakistan Day 2022

The auspicious Pakistan Day 2022 flag-hoisting ceremony was organized in the High Commission for Pakistan in Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania, on 23 March 2022 morning. A large number of the Pakistan Community members along with families and their Tanzanian friends attended the function.

The joyful Pakistan Day festivity started with playing of the National Anthem and the National flag-hoisting by the High Commissioner. The official program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Darood Sharif. Special messages of the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan on the occasion were read out by High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem.

In his remarks, Mr. Saleem paid tribute to the founding fathers of Pakistan whose services and sacrifices led to the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the South Asia Sub-continent. The High Commissioner also thanked the vibrant Pakistani Diaspora members living in Tanzania for their invaluable contribution to strengthening people to people relations between the two friendly countries.
