Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will pay an official visit to the State of Kuwait from 14-15 February 2011. During his visit, the Prime Minister, among others, will meet with the Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Pakistan and Kuwait enjoy excellent relations. The two brotherly countries share common values, faith and traditions.
The people of Pakistan take pride in the development of Kuwait under the sagacious and visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait.
Pakistan attaches immense importance to its relations with the State of Kuwait. The Prime Minister’s visit will help further enhance the bilateral relationship, which is multifaceted and rooted in mutual respect and affection.
Kuwait is host to a strong Pakistani community of about 150,000. They are actively contributing towards the economic development of the country. They also act as a strong bridge between the two countries.
